Thin layer Chromatography is used to identify the activity fraction of alcohols like ethanol, methanol, butanol, chloroform, n-hexane while evaluation of anticancer agents in invitro conditions for anti-proliferative activity against Hep-2, MCF-7, and Vero cell lines. Methanol was extracted from aerial parts of the Ononis hirta and from flowers of Inula viscosa
