Legionnaires’ disease is a form of atypical pneumonia which is characterized by cough,headaches,muscle pain and weakness,high fever. It is generally found in fresh water and can affect hot water tanks, AC cooling towers.The main precaution and prevention is by maintaining good and hygienic water body systems. It can be cured by antibiotics and hospitalizations is required in some of the cases. About 10% of the infected people die.
