Amnestic disorder and memory

Amnestic disorder is characterised by the loss of memory previously established (retrograde amnesia) or the inability to create new memories (anterograde amnesia) or might be a combination of both. This is mainly the disruption of memory. Henry Molaison is widely studied until his death who was an American mental disorder patient with anterograde amnesia.
